Efudix treatment
Have actinic cheilitis ( actinic keratosis of the lip )
Newly diagnosed after suffering with chapped, open bleeding sores of my lower lip for 8 weeks.
Dr put me on a week of steroids and advised on what to apply to lip, hoping the area would calm down and efudix could be used.
Nothing has helped.
She doesn’t have alternative.
What am I to do ?
If I could cloister at home, I might try using the dreaded stuff but am leaving for Peru soon and will be gone for 10 days.
Wait till I return ?? The lip erosion hurts all the time and effects eating and drinking.
