Has anyone tried using cannabis for pain relief?
Currently in week 3 of a 4-6 week treatment with Efudex. I have bcc’s and scc’s on several areas of my face and neck. The pain in intense and from what I understand it will only get worse during the last stages of treatment and healing. I can’t sleep, can’t eat, ibuprofen and acetaminophen are not helping at all. I have a prescription sleeping pill but it’s not really helping either. Anyone tried edibles or smoking cannabis to help with pain?
Sorry to hear about the pain and discomfort. I guess I know what I’m in for. I’m treating bcc on my nose with efudex and just finished two weeks of treatment and was told by my doctor I only needed to do two weeks. Everything I’ve read says 6 to 12 weeks of treatment for bcc. I see you are doing the same treatment and are doing 6 weeks which is the bare minimum. Did your doctor tell you about length of treatment necessary? I don’t know how long I should continue but my nose feels like a skinned knee.
The cancer center I had my last procedure done recommended using it as opposed to opiates.
