A Peel Gone Bad

Nina M encouraged me to come over here with my “story” which is more of a query than anything.
In 2008 and 2012, I had Efudex treatments for face and head AK. They were all over and both times I responded much quicker than usual or “normal.” Instead of twice a day creamery for 21 days, I did 1 a day for 14 days and I was done.
Two weeks ago I had a 35% TCA Chemical Peel and long story short, received second degree burns to the right side of my face. I wish I could post pictures.
I’m thinking maybe I have different hide than most and so, I guess I’m asking how typical this is because, if I have to do it again in future, I’ll likely opt for beheading.
