DFSP surgery
Hi! I was diagnosed with DFSP in January and due to have surgery next week. Can anyone please share their experience as far as the recovery? I have my pre-op on Tuesday but have been emailing with the nurse. I understand the incision on my back will be around five inches. I am wondering, realistically, how long the recovery will be.

Surgery went very well. - it was indeed DFSP it was just growing different since it wasn’t visible to the naked eye. Unfortunately, my wound re-opened so waiting for it to heal.

This time I have a nurse visiting three times a week to change the packing and seeing the surgeon once a week - he wants to monitor the healing process. The Dr has been great as well as the visiting nurse - would love to get back to working out.
