I need to be sun safe and yet have a fun summer, too. Bring on the sun screen. Scott skincancer.net moderator

...I did the same thing for years. Now, I just up the sunscreen and try to keep things shady when possible. I got really tired of avoiding beach time...
I need to rethink how I have been doing things. I need to make the most of my summers moving forward. Scott skincancer.net moderator

You are not alone! I found a dude ranch I want to visit, but I called with inquiries and told them you will not see me before winter, at the earliest. My latest skin cancer issue was just a few months ago, so it’s still too fresh in my mind. A year from now I may step out the box a bit and just add more sunscreen. Right now, I’m not there.

I still go to the beach and snorkel and dive. Usually wear a 50 SPF hoodie and a wide brim hat. Slather at least a SPF 30 on all exposed parts. Often put a towel over my legs and try to stay under an umbrella. It is a pain but I've had hundreds bunt, frozen, cut and Mohsed. Considering the new radiation treatment.
