"I've read recently some Warriors stating cancer defines them. I refuse to let Stage 3 Malignant Melanoma define me. I'll admit in the beginning, I did. But through the years, 17 of them since my diagnosis in 2000, I've realized that if I let my diagnosis define me, I'm not doing anyone any good. Life is meant to be lived! Find something that makes your heart sing. Fill your time with this passion in between appointments, scans, treatments, and tests. For me it's wind therapy. I love being on the back of my hubby's Harley. And I'm learning to ride my own at the age of 47. So please, don't let cancer define you!
