Basal Cell Carcinoma

After initially going to the GP with a burning itching spot on my forehead and being told to be comfortable in my skin and to come back in 6 months. Four years later, I'm on the waiting list for surgery after using Solaraze and Efudex. The latter was painful, and after a year or so, my skin is still tender, I have scarring, and there's no difference to the original area of concern. Medics really should be more honest about the chemo cream - not everyone has baby soft skin afterward or avoids surgery. So just more waiting. I had a BCC once before. I told them this but as it's only my skin I couldn't possibly be right, could I?
