My BCC Experience

I discovered a red spot and waited 3 months thinking it would go away. It was diagnosed and I had Mohs on my right cheek. I don’t think it initially healed well (repeated appointments to drain fluid over the first 3 months). But it improved and I’m used to it. My annual derm appointment is tomorrow so I’ll see if more scars are in my immediate future.

An update: after a year passed, the scar is hardly visible. So far annual checks have resulted in a couple of spots having been frozen and I remain vigilant as I check for any additional suspicious spots.
