Actinic Keratosis and Efudex
Hi all. I recently had Efudex treatment for 3 AKs on my face, oh I look lovely....
Anyway, in the meantime I had another small what I thought was a spot on my collar bone. Sent a photo to doc and he said was another AK as it has been there about 3 weeks without changing. I’m treating it but after a week nothing has happened. I have now another couple of pink patches appear on the décolleté area. Are these likely to be AK? Is it normal for others to come up while originals being treated with Efudex?

Have been using Efudex on and off for the last 15 years.
I have found that while treating an area even using a q tip, areas show up close by that present as bumpy skin.
It’s apparently more lesions being brought to the surface by the drug.
I asked my dr if I should treat those and it was a yes.
My most recent treating is now on both lower legs.
The bumps are migrating up my legs.
Have to draw the line somewhere though and save it for another day.
It’s hard to keep the cream localized but the bumps are diagnostic.
Anyone out there had similar issues ?
