Hi - I'm recovering from Moh's to remove a basosquamous carcinoma from my upper lip. I discovered it because it bled after washing my face. I thought the nurse said it was a squamous and didn't think much of it. But I asked for the path report and saw something new. A quick search (only medical journals, and NIH) on the web described it being only 2% of non-melanoma cancers, aggressive, with a propensity for metastasis and poor outcomes. I'm glad I found it early! I did a search on this site with no luck. Have any of you had basosquamous carcinoma or know anything about it? Thanks!
