Concerning Area

I am concerned that these two spots on my chest are dangerous. I have had numerous sun burns, loved in Arizona for 22 years, and visited tanning beds for a few of those.

  1. ...your story is similar to so many of us. The sunburns and days spent tanning in our youth are catching up to us. I am so sorry you are dealing with this stress now.

While we can't diagnose, we can suggest you have a dermatologist give you a thorough skin check. It's not uncommon to have precancerous spots appear on your chest. I have treated my chest with a topical chemotherapy several times over the last few years for just this reason.

I am including a few articles you may find useful. One is on self-checks, which you are obviously doing a great job with and the others are on finding a good dermatologist and the ABCDEs of skin cancer.

Please keep us updated on your progress! We are here for you any time!
