Mohs surgery on scalp
I am having MOHS surgery done on my scalp in September. What should I be ready for?After that surgery I am having a skin graft done on the same day to cover the hole on my head.
Last year I had a sizeable portion of my nose removed with MOHS and then had plastic surgery immediately after to repair the hole. The graft process for the nose is not for the faint of heart but one year later, it looks fine and most can't tell that something was done. One thing to remember is that you have 2 incisions to take care of, the one where the graft was taken from, and the one where the graft is used. Make sure you have a very good plastic surgeon!!
