I had Mohs surgery in the area of my forehead, just above and to the right of my left temple. This was about 5 years ago. I was astounded at the size of the area removed. Maybe an inch by a little more than an inch. An expletive was my reaction when the surgeon handed me a mirror. He then said I had options: let it heal by itself; go to a plastic surgeon; or he could stich it up. I elected the latter, but then wondered how he was going to do that. Well he cut down to my left ear and down almost to the left of my left eye. And then he pulled! I don't know exactly what happened, but he got it done. It healed up good and all is well, though I have a facelift to the entire left side of my face, no wrinkles! And my left ear does not hold a COVID mask well. The whole thing was an ordeal. I've had too many of these ordeals. Too many surgeries. But what are you going to do?
