    1. Thanks 👍

      1. I understand your experience in that I grew up in Los Angeles but moved away in 1990 and continue to deal with issues from my time there. How has your experience with Efudex been? Scott skincancer.net moderator

        1. Six weeks into Efudix once every other day, left side of forehead and by the eyebrow.
Strong reaction red and sore etc etc.
Scabs now forming and some coming off now.
Doctor advised continue another few weeks possibly less frequently.
One query I asked my doctor was about an area of redness close to the left eye on an area I was not treating with Efudix.
Doctor advised putting Vaseline on that area..
Did anyone else notice a skin reaction on nearby ( about an inch away) skin not being treated with Efudix ?

        2. ...Efudex is a strong medication. I have heard many users like us report that they had areas of skin react when they weren't in direct contact with the cream. I would definitely go with your doctor's advice and use Vaseline to ease the discomfort. I am including an article on the healing phase that might come in handy when you reach that phase.
