Seborrheic keratosis or melanoma?
Does the spot in my pic look concerning? I went to the dermatologist today and they said it looked like seborrheic keratosis but cut it off for a biopsy just in case. Now I’m scared bc I googled that seborrheic keratosis is commonly mistaken for melanoma.
...It sounds like you are already on the right track since you have seen the doctor and had biopsy.
Be careful when googling. It can be a double-edged sword. While you'll find helpful images and articles, you can definitely freak yourself out.
If you don't mind me asking, how did your biopsy turn out? I hope you were able to get some answers and reassurance from your doctor.
