So Surprised!

I've had lifelong eczema so when in 2008 I had a spot on my forehead, I kept treating it as if it was just that, eczema. After several months, it was still there. I saw an advertisement for a free skin cancer screening and made my appointment. They did a scrape biopsy and sure enough it was basal cell carcinoma! I followed up with a Mohs surgery and it healed beautifully. From then on, I've had yearly full body skin checks and obviously watch my skin. I've had several small spots biopsied and so far, so good. However, I've had a spot for about six months that looks suspicious. I waited several months for an appointment and just this morning had a scrape biopsy. Hoping it is not another spot of basal cell carcinoma!
