What could this be?
I'm a pretty mole-y girl and I always have been. I see a dermatologist twice a year. All of my moles are brown and normal, but today I noticed this on the back of my leg near my knee.
It is white and slightly raised and almost like a healing blister but it doesn't hurt or itch and isn't super crusty or anything. Pretty smooth but not waxy. I apply lotion there daily so I assume this is pretty new. I will make an appointment if it persists or changes but it takes months to get in to see my doctor so I thought I'd ask what you guys think.
It is about the size of a pencil eraser or smaller. Ignore the two ingrown hairs this crazy camera caught. This is really zoomed in.
Hello, thank you for sharing your photo with us. While we cannot give medical advice, I think it's always a good idea to check with a dermatologist if you see something that changed or that you are concerned about. So, I think it is good that you are seeing a doctor no matter what it is. When I cannot get an appointment as soon as I'd like I call them every day to see if there are cancellations.
