What do you do when you realize that you will need to be outside but have not put on sunscreen and are otherwise unprepared?

This probably happens to most people. We are out somewhere. Maybe we end up in a line outside or the event we are going to does not have shade. We are caught off guard and without sunscreen, protective clothing or maybe even a hat. What do you do?
I either cut my time short or cover up as much as possible or try to find shade.

I like your plan, Moon Momma. Do you like the moon? Scott skincancer.net moderator

So, do I. I am a photographer and some of my better shots are of the moon. Scott skincancer.net moderator

Well, I make it quick and make sure it does not happen again. I got a pedicure this past weekend, and it occurred to me that the lady scrubbed the sunscreen off my legs. I did not like it, but it could not be changed. I am going to start carrying sunscreen in my purse. You live and you learn, and you do not let it happen again.

Thanks for your thoughts. I try not to learn the same thing twice. I think having sunscreen with me is my new normal. Scott skincancer.net moderator

Not a bad normal. I like the idea of being prepared.
