2 weeks in, scaby, painful & extremely itchy
I'm unsure whether I should now stop using the cream, the itch is incredible.
I’m 3 weeks in and was emphatically told to keep on with cream to end of treatment phase, the pain is pretty awful, it feels like it’s been scrubbed raw then coated in chilli oil, I just want to pull my skin off. But! Keep on, the cream is supposed to be burning away the “bad” skin cells so bear with it. I find keeping myself warm is best - weirdly seems to make face feel less painful- just. 🙈🙈
I wanted to check in to see how your treatment course has been going? -Julie (team member) hey Julie thanks for checking in. Feeling more positive and ready to face the world again now. Face in 3 weeks has changed so much I forget every time how fast it happens when it’s in recovery. Do you think it would be helpful for me to post photos of the change for others to gain hope or not helpful. I’m hanging onto photos to remind me when I’m back in the black hole again😊 I’m happy to hear that! If you’re comfortable sharing photos, I do think the community would find them helpful.
