BCC AND Mohs

I had two BCCs on my face within 1.5 years of each other. Both Drs recommended Mohs. I did NOT want my face cut into. Now I have 2 scars on my face. One on the temple ( pretty large triangle shape) and one smaller one on my forehead.

I've had fraxel for both and now a different Dr is suggesting prp and microneedling.

I now read about srt guided imagery and wonder why neither suggested this as an option??? I did NOT want scars on my face and it's caused so much distress, anxiety and depression.

Does anyone know why Drs would suggest mohs over srt guided imagery when they are so close to the same cure rate???

And has anyone had success with any scar revision or facial creams... Anything!? That has helped them?
