Concerned about skin rash

Hi,

I am 28 year old female and am very concerned about a skin rash I have had for about a year.

It started on my right hand as a scaly itchy dry spot, crusty. Then it spread to near my elbow and a spot on my left arm as well. So itchy and crusty! I wouldn't wear short sleeve shirts because it looked so bad.

I went to multiple doctors and they couldn't guess what it was. No tests or anything. A few prescribed steroidal creams and those actually helped it go away.

I eventually started applying Aquaphor on it and that really helped. Now it has all gone away for the most part except for a patch on my upper left arm that is new and has developed around a faint mole that I never had before.

I am really concerned about skin cancer and am constantly checking my body. I have found a bunch of new freckles/moles after a summer with a lot of sun exposure.

I am usually pretty good about sun screen and limited sun exposure.

Waiting on an appointment with the derm.

I am just looking for reassurance honestly.
