Fluorouracil Usage

Does anyone use Fluorouracil outside of doctors prescribed areas or times? I have used it on my ears, but keep finding possible spots on my nose and hands. My derm has not mentioned these spots as super worrisome but does anyone use Fluorouracil as a preventative measure with or without doc approval?
