Squamous

I have been treated for skin cancer, specifically squamous cell carcinoma, since 2005. I have had over 200 actinic keratoses burned off with liquid nitrogen and over 20 excisions. I also had a nasty case of actinic cheilitis that was treated with Fluorouracil (5-FU, 5-fluorouracil) cream, which is some nasty stuff. It burned the hell out of my lip! I l also had a lesion on my temple; there was not enough skin to do an excision so they just burned the hell out of it, they had to hold me down as it was so painful. That's all for now. Will update.

  1. Thank you for sharing this difficult journey. I have had a lot of work done with the liquid nitrogen as well. What has been your experience with cryotherapy? Did it change the color of your skin? Scott skincancer.net moderator
