Squamous Cell

I literally went 4 years without a diagnosis. I had a rash like prickly heat all over my legs & no physician from my primary to my dermo could figure it out. Finally, after 4 years the nurse practitioner asked if I wanted to do a biopsy. I agreed. By this point the rash was everywhere. The biopsy came back squamous cell carcinoma but was difficult to treat, as it was on my chest, face & scalp. I had chemo creams, red light/ blue light radiation, cryotherapy and Mohs. I was a mess & went through a very bad time. Luckily the cancer is now under control. I see my dermo-oncologist every 3 months & get treatment if needed. I feel so much better now!
