Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Foot - Path Report shows positive margin

I just viewed my path report but haven't been able to speak yet to the dermatologist who did a wide excision on my foot last week. The SCC came up very quickly likely from a AK but I had to wait almost a month for the appointment for removal. I am very concerned that the deep surgical margin showed a "focally positive for malignancy" result and I'm looking for input from this group as to whether anyone has had this experience. I assume this means at minimum more surgery but am also concerned about loss of a foot or mets. Thanks in advance for anyone's input.
