Too much sun over the weekend?
The holiday weekend is in the books. Did anyone get too much sun? How did it happen?
I did not, but to be honest, a Fourth indoors seemed odd. Someone asked me if I was gonna go to the pool, because that is what Texans do in the heat. I said I go to an indoor pool in town. An indoor pool? Yes, an indoor pool.
Where I live we have a rooftop pool with grills, but there is almost no sun coverage. And I do not go.I used to live in Texas but it was before I thought too much about sun protection. I can see how people would spend the 4th out in the sun. I remember it being over 100 degrees every day for at least two months. Thank you for sharing your experience and "Don't Mess with Texas!"
