What does your skin cancer journey look like?

Every journey with skin cancer looks and feels different. We’re collecting personal quotes and images from the community to show that skin cancer isn’t one-size-fits-all. Does anyone want to share theirs in the replies?

  1. My skin cancer journey is one of gratitude.

    1. Squamous cell cancers. One on top of hand and one on finger that required a skin graft.

      1. My skin cancer journey is of discovery, surprise and education.

        1. I feel the same way. I seem to learn something new all the time and most of the time the surprise is not a happy one. Thank you for your thoughts. Scott skincancer.net moderator

      2. My face after four shave excision surgeries in 2018. And I’m so grateful it was no worse. I’m also grateful the plastic surgeon did a fabulous job with my lip. Add some red lipstick now and no one sees it or cares. Skin cancer-lips
