That’s a difficult question, I don’t deal with challenges the same way all the time. Sometimes I feel stronger and face them head on. Other times, I am tired and just feel beat up and want to stick my head in the sand. It varies, but as long a we face them (eventually) and keep moving forward I count that as a win.

I feel like when I stick my head in the sand, I get it in my ears and that's no fun. I think I do better with support around me when it comes to managing my challenges. What helps you feel stronger? Scott skincancer.net moderator

Hmmmm, I don’t necessarily know. Some days it’s how my body feels and that makes a difference in my mental state. If I am hurting then I am less patient than normal and don’t want to deal with anything. If I am feeling good it’s a whole different story. I get nerve pain in my leg from where they removed the melanoma because it was right on/next to the nerve. Those days I am not the nicest person to be around and the last thing that I feel like dealing with is anything challenging at all. WOW sorry that was wordy. 😂

I like wordy answers because in this forum words are way we engage each. So keep them coming. I understand about how I feel being connected to my mental state. Today I don’t feel that great physically and I’m trying to keep it together. As for feeling stronger, I think exercising or taking photos helps me be mentally stronger. Scott Skincancer.net moderator
