My Stage IIB diagnosis came fast and furious. We literally had no time for a second opinion, plus we were overwhelmed with all the additional procedures: PET scan, sentinel node biopsy, and removal of additional margins. I would slow down, attempt to get a second opinion or additional input, and ask the tough questions, first. Get some type of comfort level before any major procedures.

When I read the words, “get some type of comfort…” I thought you were going to say, “Get some type of comfort food” instead of “comfort level,” and the comfort food sounded pretty good to me as a way of surviving stressful times!

Ronni – I’ve definitely had my share of comfort food over the years.
