I Thought Dermatology Was Only For Plastic Surgery Or Botox!

In 10 years, I’ve had 28 surgeries (9 of them for melanoma), 17 excision biopsies, and over 138 spots of precancer, burned off, leaving huge blisters.

I’ve had 3 PDT/blue light therapy treatments. Used Effudex chemo cream treatment, several times, on spots all over my body.

Absolutely important to use sunscreen and skip those tanning beds, SandyS! I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through over the last decade — as if being a fair-skinned redhead in California wasn’t hard enough? It’s difficult to hear stories like yours, but they’re so important to tell. Thank you for helping spread awareness. How are you doing now? I hope well. -Eileen, Team
