4th Nov 22. My Doctor has advised me to stop further applications now and wait for the new skin to show up. Still quite painful and sore and weeping.

7th Nov 22 Thank you for writing to me. My rate of application was 5 times a week over 4 weeks = 20. I stopped after 18 applications as advised by my doctor. There is not a lot of difference over the last week. Several years ago when I used Efudix a skin specialist said to apply a little vaseline if required. I have not used this as it would make a mess of my pillow. I notice that someone here mentioned Desitin cream. I live in Cornwall UK. It would appear this cream is in USA. I think we have other nappy rash and eczema creams which I will investigate.

...please let us know if you find something that works well for you and brings some relief. I certainly hope the healing stage moves along quickly and you are able o get the dead skin off before too long.
