I am beginning the process of using Efudex. Does anyone have a way to cover your face in order to feel comfortable in public?

If you are working in the public, it will be hard to keep completely covered. I treated my face this summer while school was out. I am a teacher and that was the only time I had to treat my face and not worry about missing work.
I'm not sure to what extent you intend to cover up, but there are several companies who make products to cover the face, and they have UV protection.
Coolibar is one. http://www.coolibar.com/category/Sun-Accessories/Ultimate-Protection/pc/2264/2300.uts
These masks (if you are comfortable going this route) have SPF30. https://www.hoorag.com/fishing-bandanas/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwprbPBRCHARIsAF_7gDZkLlIOGXWw7FJnrZWAAXoAXUzFXntirLX3yrPsIp_awc9jk78Pb-UaAnK9EALw_wcB
If I were you, I would go with hats, scarves, and visors if possible. If you are working in an office setting and need to be around others in a more up close and personal way, all of those options might be out.
My friend made this shirt for me this summer and listed it with teespring. All the proceeds go directly to the Melanoma Research Foundation. It is a great way to start conversations about the treatment and spread awareness. It also breaks the ice when you and the other person feel a bit awkward. https://teespring.com/shop/4spf365?aid=marketplace&tsmac=marketplace&tsmic=search#pid=2&cid=568&sid=front
Keep us posted on your progress! Hang in there!

Thank you. Last night I completed three weeks of applying the cream every night before bedtime. It has been challenging, but having this group made it easier because I could anticipate the stages. I will be seeing the doc on Tuesday. I am ready for the healing to begin. It sounds like the next 2-3 days may be the most difficult. Because of a family health event, I have had to go out in public. I'm surprised at how few questions I've gotten. Supergoop, here I cime!

I'm so glad you are finished! Yes, the first few days can be quite trying. Ice packs are my best friends for a couple of days during healing. I try to stay hydrated and lotion constantly. Vanicream is great, and I just love Supergoop sunscreen. We are here if you need us!
