I’m also looking forward to a cloudy day tomorrow but remember that UV can still get through the clouds and you can still get a burn!

Yes, it can. Thank you for the reminder. Scott skincancer.net moderator

...we had the same here today...mostly cloudy with some rain early. It was a welcome relief. Going outdoors to face the glaring sun gets old sometimes. April, SkinCancer.net, Moderator
I don’t think anything is wrong with you. I personally love cloudy cool and breezy days.

I do love the sun but must admit now that I'm in the midst of this skin cancer adventure, I'm much more likely to stay in the shade or be extra grateful for the cloud cover. I live in Tucson, AZ, so we are less likely to have clouds than much of the country but I'm still seeking shade everywhere I go!

we do have "some" shade 😀, lots of trees including Palo Verde and Mesquite grow quite large and provide amazing amounts of shade. I'm an avid walker of my two dogs, we're out several times a day, but it is harder on our triple-digit full-sun days.

My parents are in Kingman and I am glad that you have great shade. Arizona has some amazing vistas. I am a photographer and that area is on my list. I wouldn't do so well with the heat, though. Probably going out for a visit during the holidays. Scott skincancer.net moderator
