Is this Basal cell carcinoma?
I had a very painful pimple on the side of my nose 4-5 months ago, and when it was gone, it left this weird red bump behind. At first, I thought it was simply a pimple that was not going away, but as the months passed, I had it checked by my dermatologist.
My dermatologist looked at it and told me it’s not a BCC and is probably a lesion caused by wearing my glasses on top of the pimple. She gave me a cream to apply and told me it would go away on its own. However, even after 20 days, it’s still there and not going away. I am thinking of getting a second opinion but just wanted to get answers on the internet if this is actually a BCC or if I am simply being paranoid.

It does sound like something I would keep an eye on. Since you did see a doctor, I would at least follow their advice for now. If it starts to clear up over time, they are probably right. If after a while it is not getting better, or it gets worse. I would see the doctor again, or get a second opinion.
