Is this skin cancer?

I've had it for around 1 month and it has bled bad about 3 times.

  1. we appreciate you reaching out and understand your concern! For your safety, we cannot offer a diagnosis online since we are not medical professionals. I would strongly encourage you to have this spot looked at by a dermatologist, and any other areas that are of concern. Skin cancer can appear in so many different forms, many members of our community like to say 'when in doubt, check it out'. All my best, Julie (team member)

    1. ...Just to piggyback off Julie's reply--while we cannot diagnose, we can suggest you have it checked out by your dermatologist or family doctor. I can tell you from my own experience with precancerous spots that they tend to be tiny spots that break open and bleed easily when bumped or rubbed. It's always a good idea to have a spot checked out when it hangs around for a while and behaves that way.

I am including an article with the ABCDEs of skin cancer. It comes in handy when doing regular skin checks.

      1. Don't worry. My skin has the same issue. I used Nature's Bloom cream ( https://www.natures-bloom.com/ ). They provide natural skincare products. After using their cream, my skin has improved.

        1. Glad to read that you have a product that is helping you. Scott (skincancer.net moderator)

      2. I would like to concur with others. My mantra is when you're in doubt, get it checked out. Keep us updated. Scott skincancer.net moderator
