It's the holidays. Do people talk about health issues at gatherings?

You are sitting around the table with friends/family and people naturally talk about what interests them. Do health issues/skin cancer ever get brought up? How so you react to it?

  1. Nope we do not discuss health issues during the holidays. We keep it light.

    1. I appreciate that approach. I think we do the same. I think the whole idea is to take a holiday from the worries and concerns of life for a while. Scott skincancer.net moderator

    2. How are things going for you? Scott skincancer.net moderator

  2. Things are going pretty well here. We’ve had some crazy weather recently. I love Christmas, but I just feel like it’s become too much about money/spending/gifts. I sometimes feel nostalgic for simpler times.

    1. I remember those simpler times as well. Glad that things are going pretty well for you. Hope that you are able to get some rest, too. Have you had cold rain/snow? Scott skincancer.net moderator

  3. Scott, how are you doing?

    1. Thank you for asking. I am ok. I am having some sciatica issues that really bother me at times, but I am managing it enough that I can get outside and take some photographs. Overall, I am well and content. Scott skincancer.net moderator

  4. We’ve had snow, really cold temperatures and a rare ice storm. How about your weather?

    1. Very cold and no snow, which I am thankful for. I lived in Buffalo, NY for 14 years and recently moved close to NYC. The lake effect snow they are getting there is really tragic. Did you lose electricity in the ice storm? Scott skincancer.net moderator
