Peeling time after fourouracil
Doe anyone know about how long the face will peel after using Flourouracil?
I am using Vanicream a few times a day. I read somewhere not to “help” it peel…would love some insights on this! Thanks…
I am on my 3rd time using efudix over a 38 month period. Everyone is different,also each time I have used cream is slightly different depending on where I have been treating (cheeks, eyelids etc) PLEASE TAKE CARE NOT TO GET ONTO LIPS AS THEY WILL BLISTER HORRIBLY! I found the crusting and bleeding part takes around 2 weeks and then it begins healing but the skin will remain very tender and super sensitive. I use sunblock 50spf every day as soon as I dress even if I am in the house. Be kind to yourself and believe in the power of the cream.

It was kind of peeling off by itself.. I just kind of helped it. Will I end up with big scar on my face and should I apply something on it now to prevent infection?
