Skin Cancer

I was a military aircraft mechanic for 18 years. I had a spot on my forehead that would bleed for a few days and then stop. I went to a PA who said that she did not think that it was skin cancer but she wanted me to go to a dermatologist because she was not an expert. It was skin cancer which was removed. A few years later I had a place on my nose do the same thing. It too was skin cancer and was removed.

  1. First of all, thank you for your service to our country to keep those planes in the air. Also, I appreciate your post because you saw a doctor and then followed her recommendations to see a dermatologist. It sounds like it all worked out well for you. I am sorry for the skin issues but am happy that you are getting things looked at and treated. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. Scott skincancer.net moderator
