What is this weird spot?!!
Hello,
First time poster here. I have an odd looking red spot on my face that started from a shaving cut a couple years ago. It seems to always get irritated when I shave, even though I try to go light over it. I went to a derma about a year ago and the tech suggested I have it burned off. It seemed to heal ok, but not quite 100%. Now its back.
Would anyone here have an idea of what this is?

I'd love to tell you not to worry, but the only person that can allay your fears is a dermatologist. I hope you can have it checked out by your derm again? (Or have you already?) I can share that about 15% of basal cell carcinomas return within a year of cryotherapy, and up to 20% of squamous cell carcinomas treated with cryotherapy return within one year.
