Has anyone tried Ivermectin horse paste? I have seen anecdotal evidence for success, but no clinical trials.

I am currently receiving immunotherapy (cemiplimab) for multiple squamous cell skin cancers. It actually appears to be improving my situation, but I still have a few areas of concern, and my oncologist gave me permission to ‘try Ivermectin on a limited number of areas. Just wondering what the community thinks?!

  1. Hi . I have no experience with Ivermectin, but I hope you get some helpful input from others in the community. While you wait, here is a study from the National Institutes of Health that might interest you: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7505114/. What does your gut tell you about trying it? Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Thank you for forwarding the article. Much of it was above my head, but it was very encouraging, so I am going forward with the attitude of, ‘What could go wrong?’ Please excuse my nursely sense of humor.
I surely will keep the community informed of any significant effects, good or bad. I am not even sure how to use the paste—plan to apply twice daily, like Efudex, and see what happens?! I am also wondering about oral Ivermectin for a more systemic approach, but would not know how to use that, either.
