What's your opinion of mineral sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreen provides a protective barrier between your skin and the sun. It can be less comfortable than chemical sunscreens. What is your thought about them?
My dermatologist is all-in for the zinc. All the sunscreen I wear is high in zinc. I am unsure what you mean about the mineral sunscreen being less comfortable. I haven’t heard that. It seems ok to me. I generally don't like wearing sunscreen but of course I do. The zinc type and other mineral sunscreens feel less breathable (if that makes sense). I totally agree with you barrier sunscreens are better for you, but they do make me feel like my skin is suffocating. I know I am always trying new ones to find one that feels good and doesn't turn me white either. Yes, I was doing some filming a week ago and they put on some sheer sun screen which was good and then I added some of my own barrier sun screen. The make up people looked at me like, "What happened to your face?" I had this white glaze over it. That was not a good look. Scott skincancer.net moderator
