which is more effective sun screen or uv clothing
I am fair skinned ans 83 years old, I enjoy the outdoors, such as bike riding, yard work, etc. I have had several Mohs surgeries in last 2 years and both basil and squamous cell removals. I just finished a 2wk session of Efudex on both arms. My question is which is most effective when I am outdoors, sun screen or uv clothing? thank you for any input.
great question! Here is some helpful information on UPF clothing https://skincancer.net/life-with-skin-cancer/upf-fabrics. The benefit of the UPF clothing is that you don’t have to worry about reapplying! Since not all skin will be covered, you’ll still need a combination of the sun safe clothing and SPF.
