  1. "Out and about 10 days after. Went to the gym with a bandaid on my nose. But, ya nose, it wasn't so bad. Speaking of nose, it's still pretty numb and bumpy and, well, weird. I'll be glad when I can cover it with a bit of makeup. I've started a blog about my experience. And, I'm getting a few things published. Hope it helps others to relate. "

  2. "First day back to some gentle exercise. I spent a week sitting around but I did get a lot of writing and art projects done. All grist for the Lou Lou Bird mill. Scar looking better, less red. But I can see how it will change in odd ways for many months. "

  3. "Stitches out not exactly night and day. Red, kind of weird nostril size difference. And, I'm a bit creeped out by anything that looks unusual on my skin now. "

    1. Hi Lou Lou Bird, I'm glad you're checking in with an update! Many members have talked about how long it can take for the appearance of the treatment site to improve and how they wished it would happen more quickly. I'm glad there's been some progress and the stitches are out! It's so hard not to second guess every spot after something like this. I'm sharing Scott's article about wondering if every spot is cancerous, and the stress it can add: https://skincancer.net/life-with-skin-cancer/skin-check-fatigue/. Wishing you continued healing! - Nina, SkinCancer.net Team

    2. Thank you.

  4. "Nervous. Stitches come out on Friday. "
