Hi folks,
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2017 and have been treated since 2018.
At my last bone marrow biopsy they did a NGS panel and I have "low level mutation in BRAF gene". Prognostic implications: poor. I asked my hematologist about this and he said he would have to discuss it with MD Anderson who is affiliated with my treatment center.
Does this mean I have or am going to get skin cancer or another cancer this mutation is normally associated with?
I am a bit concerned as we are still trying to get the CLL under control.
thanks for any info you have!
