Paid Study Opportunity

Hello! I'm a doctoral student at the University of Maryland, looking for couples dealing with cancer to participate in a research study examining how financial challenges related to cancer affect couples’ health. Findings from this study will help better understand the experiences of patients and their partners and support the development of an intervention aimed at helping couples cope with the financial impact of cancer. Participation involves completing a 15–20 minute anonymous online survey. Each partner will receive a $15 gift card and will also be entered into a drawing to win one of two $100 gift cards (UMD IRB #: 0128-1).

You may be eligible if you:
1. are 18 years or older
2. are in a committed relationship and have lived with your partner for at least six months
3. have received cancer treatment within the last 5 years
4. reside in the United States
5. can read and understand English.
6. You and your partner both consent to participate

Please note: Individuals whose only cancer diagnosis is non-melanoma skin cancer or unspecified skin cancer are not eligible to participate.
