Pink spot on thigh

I’m a 30 year old female

I remember noticing this spot within the last few years. I’m not sure if it’s changed.

It’s on my inner thigh, and it almost looks like two circles. I thought I remembered only one circle but I genuinely couldn’t say for certain.

It is flat, feels like the surrounding skin, but it’s bigger than a pencil eraser. It’s never crusted or bled, isn’t flaky and it blanches when I press on it. It does not itch

I always thought it was because of my thighs rubbing or something but it hasn’t gone away.

Should I be concerned?

I don’t have a ton of moles but I do have fair skin

  1. Hi . We're not medical experts, so we really can't safely say what it might be. I wouldn't dismiss it though simply because it doesn't meet some of the more typical criteria for skin cancer. You mentioned that you have fair skin and a few moles. Have you ever had an annual skin check? If not, this might be a good time to start. You can get a good, all-over check and have that spot investigated as well. If you don't want to wait for that appointment (It can take a few months to get in with a dermatologist), you can ask your primary care doctor to take a look at that spot. If your primary care doctor is concerned, your doctor might refer you to a dermatologist, which might result in an earlier appointment. Regardless, please keep us posted. I'll be thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
