Hi my husband has a lesion on his lower back that looks very suspicious. He has shown it to our GP twice and told it is nothing to worry about. That it is most likely a build up of protein. The reason I am doubting this is that I went with a lesion to my own GP with a lesion on my face and told it was nothing worry about, four years later it was found to be Basil cell carcinoma.
What my husband has looks to me like melanoma, am I just being silly or should we get a second opinion?
