Experience with photodynamic therapy and metvix
My dermatologist wants a lot of money for this treatment of my scalp and cheeks. I believe it is as painful as Efudex. I am 90. I have the usual aches and pains. Has anyone used this expensive combination? If so, how uncomfortable was it? Any advice would be both kind and welcome. Thank you all.

. I don't have experience with photodynamic therapy and metvix, but, from what I understand, the pain is much shorter-lived than the pain from efudex. Have you used efudex in the past? Is this something you can afford?
