Waiting for another unexpected biopsy

I’ve had multiple skin cancers. The most recent were last year, the year before, and during the pandemic. I went to get something checked on my face from a previous Moh’s surgery which turned out to be pre-cancer in a couple spots that was burned off. Now I’m waiting on a biopsy on my forehead I didn’t really notice but I knew what area the dermatologist was talking about because it was sore. That was an unexpected biopsy. I’m normally the one that finds my skin cancers. Hopefully it’s just an inflamed keratosis.

The fact that it’s painful is concerning. Most the time I haven’t felt much pain aside from a previous fast growing squamous cell. This one still hurts today, maybe it’s just a sensitive area.

  1. I hope it's not cancerous, , and that the pain is simply because it's on a sensitive part of your forehead. Any idea how long it will be before you hear back? You know I'll be thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. I’ll probably know by Friday. It’s starting to feel better today. I’ve never had a painful biopsy before but I think it was inflamed.
